Spring 2021 Meeting
Join us for the Spring meeting of the Women In GIS - Arizona Chapter.
This Spring we will be hosting a panel of allies - men who work with Arizona women in GIS. This will be a thoughtful discussion between you, our audience, and men who support women who work in geospatial professions. Come share your experiences, ask questions, and learn how men are supporting and advocating for women in GIS. This will be a great opportunity to talk about about the challenges of equity, gain new insight, and get tips for success in the workplace.
Our distinguished guests come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences - you won't want to miss this!
- Matt Beversdorf, Supervisor GIS Products and Services, Cartographic and GIS Services Division at Salt River Project
- David Moss, Director of Data Management and GIS, Maricopa County
- Gene Trobia, former Arizona State Cartographer and active participant in the Arizona geospatial community
