Spring Quarterly Meeting

Join us on May 21, 2021 for the Spring Meeting of the Women In GIS - Arizona Chapter.

We've invited a panel of men from the Arizona geospatial community to get their perspective as an ally to women in GIS. We'll talk about what it means to be an ally, how to help women overcome gender barriers, and strategies for supporting women.

Our panelists include:

  • Matt Beversdorf, Supervisor GIS Products and Services, Cartographic and GIS Services Division at Salt River Project
  • David Moss, Director of Data Management and GIS, Maricopa County
  • Gene Trobia, former Arizona State Cartographer and active participant in the Arizona geospatial community
  • Howard Ward, Owner, TerraSystems Southwest Inc

This meeting is open to all women involved in geospatial fields and anyone (male or female) who has an interest in being an ally for working women.
