Join us on May 21, 2021 at 1:00 pm for the Spring Meeting of the Women In GIS - Arizona Chapter.
This Spring we will be hosting a panel of allies - men who work with Arizona women in GIS. This will be a thoughtful discussion between men and women who work in geospatial professions. Come share your experiences, ask questions, and learn how men are supporting and advocating for women in GIS. This will be a great opportunity to talk about the challenges of equity and gain insight for success in the workplace.
Our panelists include:
- Matt Beversdorf, Supervisor GIS Products and Services, Cartographic and GIS Services Division at Salt River Project
- David Moss, Director of Data Management and GIS, Maricopa County
- Gene Trobia, former Arizona State Cartographer and active participant in the Arizona geospatial community
- Howard Ward, Owner, TerraSystems Southwest Inc
We encourage everyone, regardless of your gender, to attend this unique event!
